Handmade sterling silver two runners pendant
Absolutely stunning solid silver pendant of two runners on a track. The superb details of the runners in singlet vest and shorts is typically 1950’s and is reminicent of the era that Dr Roger Bannister set a new world record for running the four minute mile. This is a beautiful pendant that should be worn with pride. It was made with that great moment of time in mind, when the mile was first run in under four minutes. I have made two versions of this pendant this one is 23mm high including the bale and 20 mm wide including the track base and weighs just under 6 gms. The bale is designed to hold the chain threaded for a front view but there are multiple points in the pendant where the chain can be fitted securely so as to give an alternative view of the runners from a different angle. This pendant is also free standing and it can be displayed as a micro sculpture on a desk or shelf. It is a real discussion piece and I believe it to be quite unique.
It is sold without the chain. I if you should require a chain I can provide a silver chain from stock upon request.
